Two New (Wired) Stereo Headsets: WH-600 and WH-700
Written by jon on 6:18 AMNokia recently introduced two new combination headphones/headsets, possibly to make up for the lack of any real devices at Nokia World 2007. These are the wired kind, meaning they both feature a Nokia-fied 3.5mm plug that goes into your Nseries device.
The WH-600 looks to be based on the BH-604 Bluetooth headset, a ridiculously large set of headphones that had a mic tucked away in one of those monster ear pads. The ear pad size has been noticeably cut down to size, and are now roundish compared to the large oval 604's. Like Nokia's other wired headsets, the WH-600 comes has an attached remote capable of handling calls and changing the volume on-the-fly.

On the other hand, the Nokia WH-700 are the in-ear type of headphones, and come with three ear cups of various sizes. This headset also comes with an undetachable remote.

Both headphones share one annoying trait - they require an adapter to be used in standard 3.5mm music players (it is included though). The price, too, is a little bit of a turn-off: 65 Euros ($95 USD) for the WH-600, and 50 Euros ($73 USD) for the WH-700.
Expect these two devices in January of 2008.
